“Turn me loose and set me free, somewhere in the middle of Montana” Thats from Big City, one of my favorite Merle Haggard songs. Montana doesn’t have any big cities but it’s a big state, especially west to east. We started the day in Missoula on the west side and ended the day in Glendive on the east side.
Things were very hazy throughout the day and air quality alerts were issued due to numerous wildfires in the area. We didn’t see any flames but did spot a bright red sunset at the end of the day.
